Our village is located in one of the most beautiful valleys in Europe, in the Regional Natural Park of the Volcanoes of Auvergne, at the foot of the Plomb du Cantal mountain and ski resort. Rambling,cycling, horse-riding, cross country skiing, and water sports are readily available. Vulcania theme park. Padirac 2 hours away. Puy-Mary, Chaudes-Aigues, 30mins.


Pedestrian outings, fishing, shooting, discovery foot paths, tennis, golf, parapente, our area also enables you to practise the ski touring at 10 min by car, the Alpine skiing at 30 min and to profit from the attractions of a lake at 10 min by car as well as various tourist activities, the whole within a calm and green surroundings.

  Our country encourages to go prospecting : the splendour of the mountains landscapes towards the ‘Puy Mary’, the ‘Plomb du Cantal’, the beauty of the valleys (Brezons, the ‘Gorges de la Truyère ’, Lake of Sarrans…), the site of Turlande, the ‘Presqu’ile de Laussac’ (peninsula of Laussac), Romanesque churches (St Martin, Brezons, Cézens….), the Castles (Lescure, Vigouroux, La Bohal , Rochebrune…)

COUNTRY OF OUTINGS
  The ‘Cantal’ is a place of predilection for the pedestrian excursions. In addition to the GR400 (in the vicinity), several circuits of small excursions are proposed to you for the day or the half-day: 
 “the wood of Fraux”, “the plate of Lébréjal”, “throats of Vezou”…

COUNTRY OF FISHING 

The southern side of the Cantal volcano is particularly the country of fishing with its innumerable brooks which originates at the ‘Plomb du Cantal’: The Brezons, the Hirondelle, The Vezou, the Avèze, the Epi, The Gorges de la Truyère … and also at its foot, the Lake of Sarrans 

You can get the fishing licence directly at the hotel!
